Aims and Objectives of interRNAS

i) To create a forum for interaction among academicians, industrialists, scientists and engineers in the broad areas of alternate sweeteners.
ii) To collaborate with societies, institutions, research institutes and other bodies locally and abroad on the advancement of alternate sweeteners.
iii) To promote discussion through organization of conferences, workshops, seminars, courses, and exhibitions towards the healthy utilization of alternate sweeteners.
iv) To influence national and international policy formulation aimed at encouraging the usage of alternate sweeteners around the globe.
v) To serve as an advocacy body for the dissemination of information on the numerous beneficial effects of alternate sweeteners as against the common ones.
vi) To institute scholarships, fellowships, awards and prizes, to outstanding students and individuals for their contributions to alternate sweeteners’ research.
vii) To publish books, journals and newsletters relating to all areas of alternate sweeteners including cultivation, processing, utilization and health implications.
viii) To perform any other activities that may assist in or encourage the attainment of one or more of the above objectives.
